The articles aim to encourage women to visit their GP's and midwifes as soon as they realise they are pregnant and to maintain regular communication with him or her to ensure an uneventful pregnancy.

I am contacting you on behalf of the Maternity Services team at the Department of Health, as we are working to highlight what choices are available to all women during pregnancy and postnatal care. We’d like to work with you to conduct a quick survey within the muslim mums community to see what decisions your mums have chosen and why. I would love to hear from you to discuss how this may be able to work within your forum.
In the longer term we would also like to help educate your members of the options that are available and what choices expectant and new mothers have.
