Saee is the part of Umrah where pligrams walk between the locations of the two hills “Safa” and “Marwah”. The walk is done seven times from hill-to-hill, and signifies the running back & forth that Prophet Abraham’s wife, Hagar, did whilst searching for water for her child “Ishmael”. Hagar was searching for water between these hills in a time when this area was nothing but desert and she was all alone in the area, underneath the blazing sun.

The starting hill “Safa” is about 100 yards from the Kabah, and the distance between the 2 hills is approximately 450m.
